Okay, i've finallyyy found the time to update, which is now, during the march hols. Pheww~ Week before orientation2, there was HEAPS of planning, meetings, settling shirts, making identities and placards..so many things to do and in so little time! we were literally having a race agst time. It was scary.
First time i was given the task to go make shirts. I was likee..okay, this shdn't be that difficult lah, since there was the design and everything alr. And yup! thank God, it wasn't THAT difficult, but the only bad part: the factory was at UBI..yea, still got no idea where that place is lah...hahaha! Thank God the shirts came out fine, although it was a super bright orange, that made us quite luminous in the dark. Hahaha
Orientation 2 was better than what i expected. From what previous OGLs and seniors said (abt O2 being super boing and stuff), it was really quite a surprise to me. I was taking Vega 3! Yep, they're reallyy reallly nice and co-operative. some other ogls were complaining that their fresshies didnt wanna cheer and didnt wanna do anything. But at least mine were willing to do cheers and at least run abit during MMM at sentosa =)) Yep, i'm posted to vega8 though, back to my O1 orientation grp. Khad's posted to vega5. which probably means we're gonnna be in different classess=SADDDD!!!!
We went to school on friday, and there was the confirmed subjects we were taking on the whiteboard. So we hurried over to check our combi then we saw the number 402 on both our columns and we went "YAY! we're in the same classs!!". then someone heard us saying it, and went "hellooo..that's ur subject combi number". like sooooo embarrassing lah!! felt like such iddiots..cheap thrill for less than a minute.
Was games IC for WnW. Qutie fun to have pple coming over to ur station and making them super wet, throwing bombs at them and most of the time, they cant take their revenge cos games IC would be holding on to their score sheets. *evil grin* MMM was fun too, ran (walked) ard sentosa for about 5 hrs, looking for stations, completing tasks..blah blah! But it was then that i had the chance to know my OG pple better.
Campfire was the most nerve-wrecking one as we had to prepare an item, and my house was assigned to do a dance. With the theme "supernatural". Yea, like that's gonna be easy. Hahaha anyway, it turned out not bad. The house really did it well, cos they were given like abt 3 hrs to learn the dance which was cheorographed on the day itself in abt an 1 hr? Yea, there were some of the ogls and 3 gals from dance society who cheorographed the moves on the spot.Really niceee!! We ended the dance on a superr high note by geddin everyone to get up and dance to "Rhythm of the Night".. so funn!!
Had debrief until 11, the rest went out to makan..i came back home cos i'm still under curfew. Rahhsss!! was really tired anyway. slept till 12 the next day. Spent my whole day online (what's new)..was abt to sleep at 11 when i received a phone call from this guy i just got to know during orientation. the issue: his gf broke up with him. LOL i was laughin my head off and surprised why he called me. kept telling him to keep things cool and not try to commit suicide. hehh..was quite retarded lah, during that short convo we had.
Captain's ball/netball training. didn't think it was really productive, but oh well, all in the name of fun lah! Then, i think i pushed myself a little too hard this week, lack of sleep, so many activities. Felt sick at ard 6pm, went to sleep, i think i was having a fever, but didn't bother to check lah. Mum gave me panadol at ard 11, cont'd sleeping till 9 this morning. the fever's gone, but my thoat hurts when i swallow. Yikes!
